Confined Space Hazard Awareness
Course Details
This one day course is intended to instruct students in recognition and identification of various confined spaces as well as methods of mitigating hazards associated with them. This course is an awareness orientation only and is not intended to replace job specific training in order to prepare students to enter confined spaces. The course includes:
- identification of confined spaces;
- introduction to confined space entry;
- gas monitoring awareness;
- equipment orientation; and
- Introduction to rescue awareness.
